Who am I? I’m a creative copywriter there loves to experience new places in my own home country Denmark!
Get to know me
My name is Sarah Smaling. I’m a lifestyle entrepreneur and a content specialist from Denmark. I have lived the last five years in the Netherlands with my Dutch boyfriend, and this is where I realised what are typical Danish and how much it actually means to me, like example hygge. I love to experience new things and new areas! And especially to experience the most incredible places in Denmark.
My hobbies
I’m a travel enthusiast! I love to explore, try and taste new places. Next to that, I’m a big football (soccer) fan. I have played football for nearly 20 years, and I go to the stadium in Rotterdam to watch my football club Feyenoord twice per month.
My professional background
I’m an all-around commercial and operational executive with experience in e-commerce, marketing, and content creation. I have a broad knowledge of starting up in the Scandinavian market. Extensive international experience: I worked on 16 different markets in three countries and speak Danish, English, and Dutch.
Currently, I’m working as a freelance copywriter, and next to that, I’m studying International Communication Management at The Hague University of Applied Science.
