CopenHill – A ski experience in Copenhagen

The architect Bjarke Ingels had an ingenious plan for the cleanest waste treatment facility in the world with 365 days open ski slope on the roof of a factory in the middle of Copenhagen. The surface is made of Neveplast (green plastic).

Ski experience in the city

Bjarke Ingels wanted the building to be open to the public. Usually, these factories are located somewhere in the countryside away from big cities and people. But now, by giving it a public function, the CopenHill is a valuable addition to the city in more ways than one. Here you will get the most memorable and unique ski experience you might ever have tried!
